We specialize in removing large trees from small confined areas. We also specialize in tree removal from woodlots and forested areas.
If a tree is 100% dead, imminently hazardous to life or property, or infected with a desease or pest which can harm other trees It should be removed.
The tree at the left had considerable internal decay.
Internal Decay
Often internal decay can be hard to identify. Abnormal growth patterns in structure and form, can be a sign. Canopy die-back or a under-sized canopy can also be an indicator. Wood-peckers are attracted to trees with internal decay. Cracked or loosened bark and fruiting bodies (e.g. fungus) is usually a sign the wood underneath is dead. Sometimes the trees will have a large open wound which exhibits dead-wood. This is a sure sign of internal decay.
Internal Decay
A look inside this tree shows just how dangerous internal decay can become and why any trees which exhibit signs of this problem should be dealt with immediately.
The Arborist uses the right equipment so that property and lives are protected and can remove a large and dangerous tree in a very small area.
Block and Pulley System
Once the tree is removed a homeowner might wish to have the stump ground and destroyed. A big old stump is unsightly and occupies space which could otherwise be used for replanting trees or gardens in the location.
